COM Police Chief Jeff Marozick

After a long recruiting period, on February 1, 2017 The College of Marin Board of Trustees appointed Jeff Marozick as the new Chief of Police and set to replace Interim Chief John Adams. Adams took up Todd Kidder’s seat, the first Interim Chief, since he retired on June 2016 until a permanent hire was made.

Superintendent/President David Wain Coon is excited to have Chief Marozick in charge of of the campus’ Police Department because his extensive experience. Not only that but also seems to give more stability to the college to have this seat be taken permanently.

Marozick, comes to College of Marin with 25 years of experience from the San Jose Police Department. He is excited to come and help our College community to have a safe environment.

“This is a college campus—a place where people should feel free to express their feelings openly,” says Marozick.

Marozick was sworn in on February 21, 2017 in the Academic Center during a Board of Trustees meeting.
