Gina Baleria started News In Context to explore the issues that affect how we create, deliver, and consume media content, and our ability to engage with people who disagree with us.
A former broadcast and digital journalist,
Gina now teaches journalism, media writing,
& digital content creation and delivery at Sonoma State University.
She also consults with nonprofits working
to increase media literacy and help people learn how to engage with those who are different from them.
